Miley Cyrus new boyfriend is Vancouver actor Avan Jogia

Miley Cyrus has nabbed a new boyfriend, Vancouver actor Avan Jogia, reports say.
Disney princess Cyrus, 17, and Nickelodian star Jogia, 18, have been spotted together since late October, Hollywood Life reports, playing friendly on lunch dates and at a Halloween party.

The sournce for the reports insists the pair are just having fun (no surprise, considering they're both teenagers and have nothing pressing to promote).
Cyrus hasn't commented on the report. Jogia, however, was confronted with the rumours in a recent interview. According to Hollywood Life, Jogia was asked by Tiger Beat magazine about his relationship with Cyrus. His reply? "We're hanging out, but I don't really have too much to say about that."

So what else do we know about Jogia?
He was born in Vancouver and acted in the recently cancelled Battlestar Galactica spinoff Caprica. He also had a role in the short-lived CW series Aliens in America.
According to his Wikipedia entry: "Jogia got his first break in acting in 2006, as Danny Araujo in 'A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story', directed by Oscar nominee Agnieszka Holland. . . . His upcoming movie, Finding Hope Now is due to release in 2010."

Despite previous hopes that Demi, 18, would be able to leave rehab for Thanksgiving, it now seems like that won't happen.

Representatives for Lovato told People.com: 'She remains committed first and foremost to her treatment.

'Demi has made tremendous progress to date, but understands that she has more work to do'

 It sounds like Demi Lovato is doing well in rehab and getting back on track, at least her ‘Sonny with a Chance’ costar believes that is where she is at now.

Sterling Knight revealed that he was able to get in touch with Lovato and she is “in good spirits,” states Just Jared. He is also happy that she is handling this difficult time now rather than putting it off.

“I know she’s been overworked for a long time. I’m hoping she stays strong and gets through it,” Knight said about some of what Lovato has been through.
